Booking Conditions:

Please take the time to read and understand the conditions set out below before booking with us. We recommend that you also read the specific information on the “Tours” and “Accommodation” pages on our website to ensure that you understand the itinerary, style, and physical demands of the trip you plan to undertake. If you book through other channels, such as Tripadvisor, Booking.com, or Airbnb, other or additional terms and conditions may apply. Please visit the corresponding website for more information.

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you, the guest, and us, Wadi Rum Bedouin Guide.

Our Contract:

By booking a trip with us, you agree to these Booking Conditions (which constitute the entire agreement between you and us), and we will accept your booking on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation.

Acceptance of Booking and Final Payments:

If we accept your booking, we will send you a confirmation, and a contract will exist between us from the date we send you the confirmation or when we accept your payment. Please refer to your booking confirmation for details regarding payments.

Prices and Purchases:

Our trip prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, which is standard practice within the travel industry. This means that our trip prices may vary at any time in accordance with demand, market conditions, and availability. It is likely that different passengers on the same trip have been charged different prices. Your best option if you like the price you see is to book at that time. Any reduced pricing or discounts that may become available after you have paid your deposit will not apply. If you wish to cancel your booking to take advantage of a cheaper price, full cancellation conditions apply. The most up-to-date pricing is available on our website. Note that prices may vary depending on which currency the booking is made.

Your Details:

In order for us to confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide all requested details. Necessary details vary by trip and include, but are not limited to, full name as per passport, date of birth, and nationality.

Cancellation by the Traveler:

A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a tour or activity at least 48 hours before it starts, we offer you a full refund of your advance deposit. If you cancel the tour or activity in less than 48 hours before it starts, we will examine your case and depending on the circumstance, we might offer no refund, a partial refund, or a full refund. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made.

Cancellation by Us:

We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural circumstances, political instability, or other external events, it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or receive a full refund. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess, or non-refundable transportation.

Booking Amendments:

If you wish to transfer from one trip to another or transfer your booking to a third party, you must notify us at least 5 days prior to the proposed departure date. If you notify us less than 5 days prior to the proposed departure date, the refund policy applicable to cancellations will apply. Transfers to a third party are only permitted where the transferee meets all the requirements in relation to the trip, and transfers to another departure can only 


Your trip price includes the following:

  • Accommodation as listed in the “Tours” and “Accommodation” information
  • Transport as listed in the “Tours” and “Accommodation” information
  • Meals and sightseeing as listed in the “Tours” and “Accommodation” information
  • Services of the group leader (guide) as described in the “Tours” and “Accommodation” information


Your trip price does not include the following:

  • Transportation (unless specified otherwise)
  • Airport transfers, taxes, and excess baggage charges
  • Meals other than those specified in the “Tours” and “Accommodation” information
  • Visa, passport fees, and entrance fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Optional activities and all personal expenses

Age and Health Requirements:

For most of our trips, there is no minimum or maximum age limit. However, we remind you that our trips can be physically demanding, and guests must ensure that they are fit enough to participate fully. If you are under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by a legal guardian or an escort over the age of 18 appointed by your legal guardian. The legal guardian or their designee will be responsible for your day-to-day care.

Group and Private Tours:

By default, all our tours are shared group tours with groups of up to six people. If you want to know how many people are already booked on your trip, please ask before making your booking. If you prefer a private tour instead, it can be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact us directly for more details.

Passport and Visas:

You are required to have a valid passport and obtain the appropriate visa for your trip. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the duration of your booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa and travel documentation. Please note that we cannot be held responsible if you are denied entry to a country due to lack of proper passport, visa or other travel documents.

Travel and Health Insurance:

Travel and health insurance is mandatory for all our travelers and must be purchased at the time of booking. Your insurance should provide coverage for personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and death. We strongly recommend that your travel insurance also covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, and loss of luggage and personal effects.


Please note that the nature of this type of travel requires a considerable amount of flexibility and you should be prepared for changes to your itinerary. The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the activities planned, but routes, schedules, itineraries, amenities, and modes of transportation are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.

Change of Itinerary:

While we make every effort to adhere to the trip itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes if necessary. If we make a major change before departure, we will notify you as soon as possible. A major change is defined as a change that affects at least one day of the itinerary. In the event of a major change, you may choose to accept the change, obtain a refund of money paid, or accept an alternative tour offered.

If a major change occurs after departure, we will do our best to make necessary itinerary alterations at no additional cost. Please note that we are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may incur as a result of the change of itinerary, such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable transportation.

Authority on Tour:

Our group trips are led by a group leader (guide), whose decision is final on all matters that may affect the safety or well-being of any traveler or staff member. If you fail to comply with the group leader’s decisions or interfere with the group’s safety or mobility, the group leader may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund. We reserve the right to decline future trip bookings with you if such situations arise. You are expected to comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange, and drug regulations of Jordan, and to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.

Acceptance of Risk:

You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and involves a degree of personal risk. You will be visiting places where political, cultural, and geographical conditions present dangers and physical challenges greater than those in our daily lives. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with all relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made with full knowledge of the personal risks involved.

Limitation of Liability:

We are not liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss resulting from causes such as sickness, weather, strikes, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws, or other such causes beyond our control. We are not responsible for any wrongful, negligent, willful, or unauthorized acts or defaults on the part of any of our tour guides, employees, or agents, nor for any defect or failure of any vehicle or equipment used by them. We are also not liable for any wrongful, willful, or negligent act or omission of any third party that is not under our direct supervision or control. All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of Jordan. Each individual traveler is responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy that will cover expenses associated with lost luggage or personal effects.

We are not responsible for any changes made to the itinerary or for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any supplier or third party. We are also not responsible for any purchases made by travelers during the trip, whether the merchant is part of the scheduled itinerary or not.

Optional Activities:

Optional activities not included in the trip price do not form part of the trip or this contract. Any assistance given by our group leader or local representative in arranging optional activities does not make us liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between the traveler and the activity provider.

Claims and Complaints:

If you have a complaint about your trip, please inform your group leader or our local representative at the time so that they can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means, any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 14 days of the end of the tour.


If any term or condition contained in these Booking Conditions is unenforceable or void, it shall be deemed to be severed from this contract or amended accordingly only to such extent necessary to allow all remaining terms and conditions to survive and continue as binding.

Photos and Marketing:

We may use images of travelers taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. By participating in the trip, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

Privacy Policy:

Any personal information we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of the trip or to send you marketing material in relation to our events and special offers. The information may be disclosed to our agents, service providers, or other suppliers to enable us to operate the trip. We will treat your details in accordance with our privacy policy (available for viewing on our website). Payment information like debit or credit card details is handled directly by Stripe based on their privacy policy, and we do not have access to this information.

Applicable Law:

The laws of Jordan govern these Booking Conditions to the fullest extent allowable. Any disputes in connection with a trip or these Booking Conditions must be initiated in the courts of Jordan.
